Paint

Anybody know how to paint the black plastics pieces around the gauges? Mine are pretty faded and want to paint. Not sure if I want to keep them black or change the color up but is their a special kind of paint for those plastic pieces or any special steps that need to be done? Thanks in advance.

after you sand and clean the parts with wax and greese remover you need to spray them with adhesean promoter. make sure you let this dry completley or the paint will look like it has fish eyes.then you need to spray epoxy primer and then surfacer. sand the surfacer with 400-600 grit and then base coat. (color)also allow about ten minutes between coats. after color is laid down you can spray clear coat. if you have any questions you can give my shop a call. Clear Water Graphics. 713-632-5215.
