Oil Catch Pan Trouble

ok so i need to change my oil ASAP and figured id do it myself again. Well I went and bought an oil catch pan tonight and noticed it wont fit under my bike. by like 1/2 an inch. Before I just used a pitbull rear and front stand. HOWEVER i dont have those anymore and cant afford to run out and buy another pair. Any suggestions?

Mine didn't fit, either - by about as much. I just tipped it a bit and squashed it under. I made it work. I didn't have any trouble with it being tipped, either, because it only fills up about an inch of the bottom. If I can do it by myself, you can do it!

or

If it's just plastic, you could always get a pair of shears and cut an inch off one side so you can get it under.

Take the other one back, and get something a little smaller.
Otherwise, you can come over, I have a bucket and a huge yard for dropping the oil n filter! lol

Then you'll probably have to get a stand. But it's good to have one. When I change the oil, I also clean, lube, and tighten the chain.

Put it on a rear stand and put the front on a block of some kind. I just pick it up and set it on a 4x4 block.

I cut the side off of a coolant jug. You can make it as shallow as an inch.

Keep the top so you can drain when necessary.
