Standing start everyone is heading in the same direction.

Lemans they are at a 45* angle then turn down the track.

FWIW, the guy who stalled is at fault.

He should have stayed on his bike with his arms up so the people
behind him could see him and dodge him. He jumped off and started pushing
which makes him a moving target.

That's right, but at least you're moving once you're on the track. If you stall on the apron then at least no one is going to run smooth over your

he stayed on the bike the whole time with his hand(s) up, he never got off. the dipshit that hit him should have been watching out.

DOesn't matter. You are suppose to stop and wave you hand in the air. He tried to move his bike off the track before everyone passed. This happened at CMRA in the April TWS (Texas World Speedway) event this year, but not even close to this magnitude.

I didn't say that Russell did anything right or wrong. All I said was that he never jumped off the bike

That guy should have never veered into the oncoming path of the other riders. He totally is at fault for that crash at TWS (Texas World Speedway). The Assen guy did what you are supposed to do.

My bad after rewatching it. He did stay on the bike BUT he was with it rolling forward.

And I assure you at that level of racing the "dipshit" that hit him
had a fraction of a second to react.

It was probably the classic freight train where there is a back marker
or something on the track. First guy goes left, second guy goes right, by the
time the third guy gets there it's in his face.

If a Lemans start was even remotely safer then a 3-2-3 start grid every
club level racing organazation in the country would use it.

It's called racing, happens....

I can also assure you that the slowest guy on that grid is twice as fast as the fastest
guy on this board....

Just saying.

What are you talking about??? The guy at TWS (Texas World Speedway) did the samething that the guy at ASsen did. Stop and wave your hand in the air.
