i have a 04 r1 inegrated taillight on my bike but the brake lights are not lighting up. the light itself works but when pressing the front or foot brake it doesn't brighten up. feeling really unsafe about it.

Is it an aftermarket light like a Clear Alternatives?
If so it's very possible the board is bad.
Most times they'll warranty it for you.
Before you send it in, check your fuses and connections and make sure you have 12 volts going to the brake portion of the light.
If you need any help give me a shout tomorrow and I can walk you though how to check it.
