The inevitable return . . .

. . . of the great white dope! The great white dope. The great white dope. The great white dope. The great whi *kicks broken record*

Over a year later, I'm almost ready to come back. Long story short - I left last March to start basic training for the Army, did my AIT directly afterward, and a month after graduation I was on my way to Iraq. My projected return home date is SOON, so says the word on the streets. I'm REALLY looking forward to get back to riding.

A few things have changed while I was gone. I moved out to another house, which will soon be changing to another house with some friends. But, I should still be in Sugar Land. I've saved enough money to get my Suburban working again. Gonna bore it out to a 383 and let 'er rip. Also, I've lost interest in mynamesake VRod Night Rod Special, so I plan on selling, or trading it in to return to my first love, DIRT. (Any buyers? $14k!) Yep. I want to swap the Harley for a good ol DR400. I'll keep the SV1000, and the R6 is still up in the air. I like it and I hate it. I still have the two menacing clown bike ittybittyfitties and I will def be rompin around town on em - north, south, and west (honestly, what's on the east side, anyway? Beaumont? Gag.)

So, more posts to come from me, soon. Once I gather more info on the Harley, I'll put it up on the market. I'll def be tryin to make some rides, or plan some SMRs of my own. In the meantime, I'll stalk the forums from Iraq and catch up on any big trends I've been missing. Hello to the folks who remember me!

Yay fiddy soccer! That was so much fun. I hope there's another cool place to go race, too, like the golf course was. Know of anything?

I made it back!

I'm in the new rental house, getting ready to start working and goin to college again. The Harley was waiting for me in the garage when I got back, but I'm going to Dallas tomorrow to pick up the SV1000. I'm so excited to see it. I'll be seein yall around and out on the streets again once I get settled in and done running errands and playing catch up. Until then, stay dirty. I'll be here for about 2 or 3 years till my next deployment.

I'm in the Texas National Guard, currently as an 88M, truck driver, but we just did detainee operations at a prison.

I usually post up when I go out for rides. Just keep an eye out in the Events section, and you can tag along whenev. My normal route is a 4-5 hr SMR to Somerville and back, or a 45min run thru Houston streets late at night, but I'm game for other places.
