Smile Newbie here and newbie lady rider, Houston

Hi,

I have a Yamaha '03 1100 Custom. Getting use to riding her, havent been on the street yet, but have been riding the neighborhood. Just having problems stalling when turning from after a stop. But working on it!

Welcome to MH!

A year riding plus ten track days and you still stall on the turns?? You're doing something wrong. Have you taken MSF?

Maybe she's only done staight tracks. Dragrstrips don't require much turning beyond idle speed.

Sorry, meant "0" on tracks. Yes, I can haul going straight, but when in a neighborhood and stop at a stop sign and go to turn....I stall the thing, think its my hands tho, and was told my clutch may need to be adjusted for the friction zone, due to vstar 1100's usually may have this problem at times. Yes I took the class and passed DPS too. Working on it, but still fun to get out there on MY bike! Women Who Ride Are Wild!

Anytime you are interested in some back roads in the country let me know! I'll hang back with you - it's always better when you're riding with a buddy who understands your experience level. Sometimes these guys want to haul and leave you behind. And then there are the guys who encourage you to ride faster.

Anyway - I'm not wild! Maybe a tiny bit.
