Question Track Leathers Question

Alright guys and gals,

I wore my track suit yesterday to ride and I noticed that after being out for around 30 minutes, the amount of sweating I've done. I know it's summer and leathers are hot let alone the leathers don't allow a lot of breathing

My questions to those wearing leathers out there daily or on the track, what are you wearing underneath them? I found it rather hard to get them off after sweating in them. Is there something you all are wearing to wick the sweat away? Something to keep the suit from sticking to you like glue?

Under Armor. Suit will slide right off and it won't be as hot.

Thanks Brandon. I'm going to go check out some spots here in town to see about scoring me a nice suit.

I just bought some BCG shirts and compression shorts from Academy (since I am cheap). They have the other brands too of course. I like my Under Armor shorts a little more but for the price the BCGs will work fine.

I've got an old Ultracool Shirt with ribs on it that hold your leathers away from your skin and allow airflow and max wicking. More evap, more air circulation - and they wick really well too. They're made exclusively for the purpose of wearing under perf leathers. I've had one since about '99 and they work pretty well, but I'm not sure who's still carrying them. Got mine at Marietta Motorsports years ago. I also ride with a Camelbak and stay very hydrated. Nearly went to the E-room at the track years ago when I got dizzy and my vision faded while doing about a buck 20. Couldn't stand up on my own when I got off the bike. Spent the next hour in the tower forcing fluids and surrounding myself with wet icy towels. Nothing to mess around with.

Yeah, I know - nice sideburns. Give me a break, it was 11 years ago
