6.27.10 Forest Gnome Afternoon Ride

Last minute thingy but I was invited out and its been about a month since we ran north.

All are welcomed.

As always, gear up, make sure your bike is in good working order. We wont leave anyone behind. Expect a cruise through the forest and a tad more on other surrounding roads. May stretch onto some of our unknown backroads in the area too.

Meeting and leaving at Rooks on Sawdust at 1pm.

+2 thusfar

Man I just got back from a ride. Wrecked my bike and pulled over by DPS all at once! It turns out they dont like us speeding around corners but im fine and little damage to my bike.

Yes definitely blessed w a couple gen1 founding forest gnomes coming along and track peeps. Great ride everyone thank you. Was a nice casual reunion.

As for Grady thought you had a jammer and scanner on your bike? And next time never pull off the road when being pulled over. if the cop doesn't like it he can follow you to a safer spot.

Curt, Tiatool and mark, thank you guys. Been far too long. You guys made the ride and it was fun; far better then seeing eachother in passing on track of meets.

It was a long sweeper on 2854. I was like 120 plus. He didnt have his radar on but he saw me, he was going the other way. I knew he was going to get me so I slowed down. As i was pulling on the side of the road there was some gravel and I hit it. Right in front of him. He was a cool trooper. It happened fast so once it started to go, it was too late! Ill need a new clutch lever and ill need to paint the side of my motor. I got away from the bike so I was ok. I need to get the video from the trooper.

Grady, that sucks man but its good to hear you didn't get injured.

Unfortunately my family showed up at 12:30 so i couldn't make it on the ride; on a good note, i got some unexpected work done at my house.
