Check your wiring as well.. SOmetimes if a naked wire touch it could cause the bike not to start or drain down like that... If not take it to a shop.. what side of town u on?

if a wire hits ground, it will spark; unless its on the control ground side and has power supply on the other.

Make sure your starter isnt the cause of the problem. Use some jumpercables to ensure you have adequate battery voltage to start the bike. If it starts, the starter is good.

The stator and rectifier help recharge the system, doesnt pull the battery down when off. Its the job of the battery to withhold a charge when the bike is off.

A parasitic(unmetered draw) on the system would draw the power down. Aftermarket devices not turning off are the first culprit. A parasitic draw test w either an inductive pick up clamp or running a DVOM inline w the cable and battery will let you know what the draw is on the battery.

If your system is charging well do to poor cable connections at battery or charging in general by the above mentioned, the battery bears the load of the voltage requirement to keep it running; causing the battery to wear out prematurely.

I did recently install some turn signal block off plates on the front and the bike runs but wen i turn it off n go bak out the battery is drainedive jumped it and it starts perfects so that eliminates the starter battery n rectifier replaced but as cali said thy only recharge while bike is on not off so im guessing something may b drawing the power from the battery??? Gotta c when im off wrk and thx cali for the info

Keep in mind a battery that is weak will be hard to test properly.

same thing happened to my friend, same year. we were goin down 45 and it died on him. pushed it about a quarter of a mile on the shoulder to where we were kinda behind this barricade thing. and he push started it and same thing happened again, so we pushed it some more and stopped. and this cop rolled up askin if we needed help, he said no (expired tags) and pushed started it one more time until he gave up, i put my battery in and we got back to his house. and his batter was fine in my bike. so with that said, i would bet its the stator.

AC volts, measured strait from the stator leads before it goes in to the R/R

If it was your charging system, the voltage would have gone down when revved up. Check your turn signal block off plate installation. You have a power drain somewhere.
