Rider killer by wildlife

http://www.kbtx.com/home/headlines/97159899.html
Quote:
In Grimes County, a Minnesota man's motorcycle ride ended tragically, in part because of area wildlife.

According to DPS, 55-year-old Walter Moe was riding on FM 1227 south of Navasota near the Wallace Pack Prison Unit when his Harley Davidson hit a wild hog in the road at 1 a.m. Friday.

Moe was thrown from his bike as a result. He was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center, but died a short time later.

Authorities say Moe was not wearing a helmet when the accident took place.
Maybe a lid could have changed the outcome. I'm just saying.

Next time you do a night ride through the forest you might think about this. Animals and bikes are not fun combination.

Yes this is very true. I've come close to nailing around 4 raccoons in The Forest. Not a great place in the dark and those little bastards dart quickly into the path of a rider.
