He lives down the road from me. . .i see him every few months down at MXSports(local motorcycle themed bar). IMO, his arm will never be the same again. I hope he regains some mobility though. Only time will tell

, talk about resurrecting an old thread!

Jetcycles is probably the one most likely to know Walters current condition if anyone does.

I'm glad someone brought this thread back from the dead. . .all of the MH noobs can learn a little by reading Walter's(NosRavenR1) old posts.

I'm not 100% positive about Walter's current condition so don't take this to the bank but. . .progress is really slow with an injury like walter has. The brain(what an amazing machine it is!!!!!!!) has to re-learn and re-route the nerves and pathways that remain in Walter's arm. This re-routing usually only progresses at a rate of a few(maybe 2-3) millimeters a month. I don't think anyone really knows what sort of mobility(usability) Walter will regain in his arm. The last few times I have seen him his spirits have been good, but it seems as if he just carries his (dead) arm to his side with his thumb tucked into his pocket. Maybe I can get him to come back to the boards and update us with his condition, but it's probably hard for him to come back for emotional reasons. I'll see what i can do. . .If he does come back, I hope some of you younger riders and MH rookies take his words to heart, it might just save your life some day. JET

Check the orginal post date, it's a very old thread someone resurrected, but take it as a lesson of what could happen.

Did anyone ever confirm what actually happened? I read a lot of threads on the accident, but with all the usual BS that is on those kind of things, nothing concrete was ever stated as to what actually "happened".

From all of his posts, I figured he ran. But did the cop push him off the road or was it rider dumb?

Scratch that, everyone should be aware of the potential consequences of poor decision making. All of this could have been prevented by simply pulling over
