exactly right, when we get to comfortable with anything we do, thats when we get "lax" on safety and are most likely to make a boo-boo that harms us.

Walter has a what's called Serious Brachel Plexus injury, In where all that controls his left arm (which he is left handed) his nerves where pulled from his spinal cord. So the Dr. in an almost a nine hour surgery, re wired Walter, they took nerves out of both his legs and attached the nerves to his right arm, which you see the rod going from the right side, under the skin across his chest to his left arm and the other nerve was attached to Walter's ribs, where you see the large incession in his left side. So with this surgery he WILL be able to use his upper arm and fore arm. This surgery is very rare and this Micro Surgery which cost $88 thousand just for the Dr. alone. Walter will need one more surgery to get his hand and fingers going, if they do not kick in with the major therapy he is getting. I was told if Walter was not wearing his helmet and Joe Rocket safty gear, he would have lost his life for sure and his head would have been torn off of his body! He is very Lucky and I am SURE the LORD has some special plans for Walter and his future....Again, I THANK ALL FOR THEIR PRAYERS HIS WAY....Please keep them comming he still has a long way to go.....Bless You ALL!

*calls progressive and increases medical coverage

man tahts a lot of cash for one accident... its amazing what they can do these days medically, its just a shame it costs so much. My mom had real bad breast cancer and we all got together and supported her and helped her through all her surgeries and the years of rehabilitation and therapy and she is doing well now but she has that huge medical debt now, we had great insurance but still ended up having to pay about 20% and her many treatments totalled over 100k so 20% is still quite a bit.
I'm sure your family is going through the same thing but with so many people praying for your speedy recovery I'm sure you will pull through this in no time you sound like you have the right outlook on this to pull yourself together and get back in tip top shape..
hoping for a speedy recovery!

Better get at least a $1 million medical on the bike. My medical totals were over a million. Good thing I have great health insurance. 80/20 till $1500.00 out of pocket paid then they pay 100% minus the standard copays. All in all, I have spent about $10,000 of my own money. Thanks to everyone that helped in raising some of that cash last year.
