Navigator: The winters aren't too bad. I like to ski so it's nice to have a winter with snow.

The RES! Don't even think about shopping at the first of the month. Everyone from the res invades the town. I made the mistake of going into a Wal-Mart on the weekend once.

Just got back from Colorado-great roads, traffic fairly light, did the Pikes Peak drive (finally)-last year for unpaved sections, next year totally paved. Missed out on the hillclimb-it was run this past Sunday, can still see the tire marks on the road. Obama economic recovery and stimulus money in full effect in Colorado, they are repaving just about every road in the state. Almost got to hit animals on open range land Had a great time-next time I'm doing it on 2 wheels and wife can come along if she wants or not...........!

There is some beautiful country once you leave Texas! I wish I could go again, but I have EMT classes I need to finish.

Have a great/safe trip Ken. I wish I could go. I might be doing Barber in Aug and maybe a trip out west in late Sept to Monterrey. Is this the FZ's first official roadie?

I've taken it to the hill country once. I'm not riding all the way there. Going to trailer it because I need to take the kids so they can see their relatives. Not a true road trip so to speak. Just venturing out from my nephews place.

Would of loved to have you guys. Thinking of doing something like this again next year with maybe 2 to 3 months notice. There will be another adventure in the future.
