Just like Drawkward, he admits he's a criminal... Why don't we all bash on him? You can't because all of us have been out speeding once or twice. I'm not trying to take up for his poor decision at all and even if I was, show some respect. I'm sure his lady would be looking at the forum.

I swear if I had one person to tell me some like this in person about a friend of mine that has passed, I would beat the out of them. I don't like violence not one bit but bet money I'd feel soooo much better knowing that's one I won't hear from again.

His driving was crazy but I never seen it coming. I wouldn't want to wish that on anybody.
RIP Sam.

Dude has a wife and kids just like the rest of us with families.
If he ran from the cops, ... But don't be a and badger a man that has passed. Show some condolence or SHUT THE !
That was the first man on this forum I actually had the pleasure of riding with. Honest, respectable, and a vet.
so...where was his respect for all of the other people on the road when he was riding like a poon? im a father of four and if i get taken out on my bike rest assured it wont be because i was running from the police, and im certain the same comments would be said about me if i did. nobody is above the law or opinion.

my codolences to his family, but i do not feel sad. i feel anger. anger at this selfish that CHOSE to leave his children without a father. he will get no sympathy from me.

I wonder If I had of done a stoppie and swung the bike around if that would have been a better choice.

ill chime in,
well first and foremost. to the family of the rider , sorry to hear your loss and i hope you the best in this time of need. sorry for your loss.

and to CR, sorry you passed on due to your mistakes. RIP.

loosing someone close to you makes you think twice about actions. i myself have lost a few friends due to mistakes while out on the streets. i have done the same while i rode with them. but i hung up the bike thing for this reason. i would always tell myself not to do anything dumb, but as you all know when you are out , it just happens and then you realize to slow it down . to me my wife and kids are first. i would rather get ragged on for giving up riding than to have my family get that call or knocking on the door.
just my 1 cent.

Then go tout his virtues on a military site...he's not the only member that was/is the military, he's not the only member that may have see combat at some point.

He did good and he did bad, it's a M/C forum and we're referring to his actions and choices on a M/C. A 'Great man' would not, does not exemplify or attempt to glorify bad behaviour. We've seen his posts, his commentary in regards to riding... and it's those things we comment on. Don't like it, tough.

This makes 3 'members' that have run this year that we know of... 2 of which paid the ultimate price, hopefully the 3rd will have the book... and the shelf it was on thrown at im and he'll learn something.

RIP - - I hate to see a fellow vet fall from a mistake that could have been avoided. His family will still honor him for all the great things he did while he was on this earth, as they should.

RIP, and prayers sent to his family...

We all make mistakes, none of us are perfect. whether you liked the guy or not or whether you agree with speeding/running/whatever, pay some respect to the guy and move the on.
