Almost crashed Today.

So Its been like a couple of days since I have been riding. And I usually ride everyday.

I take the HOV I-10 from own and head towards katy. Well I havn't been on that HOV in a long time so I forgot that speeding on the exit by I10 and 610 is a no no.

So I take the exit to get of at the park and ride to the right and lean on the curve going like 70. as soon as I come over the ramp about 100 ft ahead I I see the sharp 90 degree turn. and its only one lane. Immediately I hit my brakes. Back tired breaks loose and starts to skid.

Well in a split second I figure Im going to hit the wall straight on and Im gonna go over the sidewall and my bike is gonna be toast.

So I say fck it Im gonna lean hard and take the corner and at least is won't be a head on. at this point Im already down to like 40-35 so I made sure I was straight and then I let the back brake go. I lean hard to the left almost scrapping and I realize Im starting to clear it but not enough Im about to run into the wall.

To my luck I leaned it hard enough and drove up the wall at an angle which ramped my zx14 up in the air and back to the center of the road and I came down straight. When I landed, because I had kicked out with my right foot to avoid smashing my leg. I hit the wall pretty hard with my foot and sprained my ankle. The bike is un touched. I landed it with zero damage to bike and FUUUUCKING MADE IT.

Thats what I get for going fast on a road that I didn't know or remember. However. It was awsome and I cant believe I still have a clean azz zx14. I had to park in the park and ride parking lot and consol my ankle but I was so happy that I got back on I-10 and topped out the bike in excitment on my way to katy..

, quite a story dude.

Glad you're relatively ok.

I'd take a sprained ankle over a rashed up bike anyday.

Ya If it had hit sideways I would just have mabye plastic clutch cover to replace but If It would have hit head on the front end would have been gone.

I havn't been into a spot like that in years. If your going HOV from down town two katy slow down a lot on the last exit just before 610 on I10.

I did not know that ramp. but I figured what the .

Different than me. Had I narrowly escaped a major accident like that, I would be limping home. I can't believe you topped out the bike after that.

You got to learn to drive with the fear. Thats what ricky bobby would have wanted. Also Got a wheelie in before the drive was over. From now on I got my game face on. Drive it like you stole it. And give that throttle .

I wonder If I had of done a stoppie and swung the bike around if that would have been a better choice.
