Taking passengers

So my wife and I went for a ride today and not 5 miles down the road I wanted to push her off the back. She kept adjusting and figeting around. She was hitting me at one point cause I got over 100. When taking turns she isnt staying behind me but instead out of fear i guess she is not leaning with me but against me. When she got tired she just started laying on me... And every time I came to a stop she was grabbing my tank and putting all her weight into the bike and getting finger prints on it (i'm kinda OCD about that).

I was really mad when I got home after all that. Then she starts to complain that it was hot and we were out for too long etc.

Am I in the wrong if i tell her that she is never going riding with me again?

Re: Taking passengers

I hate taking passengers (s/o) It was cool at first but now I just strait tell her she ain't goin with me, whine n all u want. It ain't happenin everything I know bout the bike goes to out the door. I hate when stopping cuz she's all crushing my nuts n . When I take off aggressively it wheelies. My lower back and arms starts hurting. It just a experience that takes the joy out of riding. That's how I feel anyway.

trial and error my friend. tell her what she needs to do that is comfortable for you. if she can respect that then she dont need to be on the back of a bike

Why are you doinig triple digits with your wife on the back?
Let her know what needs to be done that makes the ride comfortable for the both of you..
Dont do trple digits with the wife, to me its pretty stupid

Taking passengers

I almost forgot about the crushing of the nuts.

The thing is I've been over all this with her and i always come back home miserable. I don't do triple digits all the time but if traffic let's up and I got a mile worth of open and empty road ahead then I get it moving. She has got to understand that I didn't but this bike cause I enjoy going the speed limit and if she is going to come with me then she just has to accept that it may happen.

I don't think there is much she can really do to make it any better. She is a horrible passenger and nothing is going to change that. I take her with me because it's the nice thing to do but then always remember why I hate taking her.

you're too stupid to have a passenger. work on removing yourself from the gene pool first. then one of us with a brain will give her the right ride.

jeez...you guys are so rough. You can teach her to lean with you by telling her to look over whichever shoulder is on the inside of the turn. If you are turning right, she should be looking over your right shoulder.

The fingerprint issue can be solved by buying her the PROPER GEAR.

The shifting and complaining I think will take care of itself. If she hates it so much she won't want to go riding. Problem solved...well, except that anywhere you go you won't be riding.

It sounds like you have a sport bike...maybe a more comfortable bike in the future would be a good idea.

Interesting. Most of the girls that ride with me want me to go fast and do wheelies.

Sucks for you.
