muscle cars

i have a 1967 Plymouth GTX , all orig. having carb problems . any suggestions on a after market? holley , edlbrock, i know bikes not mopars. any help will be welcome.

its like a 1050cfm carb, overkill. but i remember that from back in tha day........lol

Carter Thermo-Quad..........came stock on some Mopars and BB Chevy's. 900 CFM, just about bullet proof.

yep, some were 750 cc though, used to be called the "Thermoflood" I liked em though and made mad power with them.

check and change all fluids too before starting, and remove distributor and rotate oil pump drive with drill motor to pump clean / fresh oil through out the motor before rotating motor with starter.
Then, if it hasnt started in a while, pull all plugs, put marvel oil in cylinders, leave plugs out and let motor sit for a day or so, then turn motor over, let it blow oil out of cylinders through plug holes and re-insert plugs etc etc.
