Ride to San Antonio

Sometime this summer I will ride to SA. Was considering this route.

Any comments and suggestions would be welcome.

Honestly, out of La Grange I would find some back roads to get to 21. Your route isn't bad but other than big hills 71 to bastrop sucks. I have gone to lockhart through muldoon doing 2237 Jeddo and Rosanky, but I can't remember how bad the roads are.

Just rode through Muldoon this past saturday going to ROT Rally ,the roads are good , justwatch for deer & small animals running across the road.
My hometown is Flatonia , about 8 miles from Muldoon.

Depends if you're looking for a straight route, or fun roads

At La Grange, go N on 77 to
W on 153
S on 2104
71 to 21 S

At San Marcos, go W on RR12
Continue on RR32
At Fischer, go S on Cranes Mill Rd
W on FM 308
Then South on 281

There are more great back roads off 308, just depends how much time you want to take

Thanks - time is not a real issue as long as I am at my cousins house before nightfall. I figure I will have at least 8 hours.
