Cafe opinion

1976 CB 750, 2600$ wish there were more pictures.

Anyone else looking at this? Do I blow my savings on this or hold out for a Thruxton?

good price, but it wont out perform the thruxton.

ask yourself...
Are you buying it to ride or look cool?

And if the answer to that question is "both"... than the thruxton still wins.

Depends on what you want. If you want something to tinker on all the time then get the honda. The thruxton will hands down, unless you go full ohlins big bore and waste a bunch bunch of money on the cb, outperform it. Even then it'd be hard pressed. Now you could find a used thruxton and go all crazy personalizing that as well. Both bikes equally personifiable but it really is gonna be how much you want to work on it. The modern thrux will be more reliable.

Oh and then there will always be the argument that a proper cafe racer must be a british or euro bike. Traditionalists.

That CB750 is a fantastic cafe base and is a great bike to ride in the twisties. Not to mention it's MUCH cheaper than the Thruxton...
You misunderstood...

When i said "ride" i mean... are you buying a bike for the "ride" (i.e. performance: braking, acceleration, etc.) Because the new(er) triumph will out perform a 70's something honda with ease...
