Sad news

My friends mom of 20+ years had an accident on Monday. She was driving along the road when a guy on a motorcycle came head on into her lane. She, her son and myself have been into bikes for a long time. She has had a very hard time coping with the fact that the accident that was no fault of her own, resulted in a fatality. I think it is harder on those of us that ride bikes cause we always hear the dangers of riding and to be witness to it brings another mental leap in the reality of it all. I hope everyone stays safe and rides within their limits, one small wobble, one case of misjudgement, and it could be game over.

Here's a link to the story.

This is really sad, because it was in no way her fault, but now she and the passengers have to deal with the fact that a man was killed in their presence. The sad thing is, is that the guy was not in control of the bike, crossed the white line, hit her and didnt have a helment on, and that this could have all been prevented with slower ridin and proper gear. Sorry to hear this and I hope she was not hurt to bad, her car is obviously totaled.

odd that the suv was hit on right side, he was all the way across the road, or she swerved into his lane trying to avoid him.

WOW 149 is Haunted. After my friend passed away sunday at around the same time and on the exact same road I thought "What are the chances of that happening to my friend?" Now here is another one, a day later. Im staying away from those roads as much as possible.
