Went down Friday

Took a little spill on 610 Friday morning. Gear FTMFW!!! Just got donor kneepads two days prior and boy did they pay off. Summary:

610wb, first entrance after exiting 45n hov. On ramp barrier cleared my line of sight, here comes little black Mercedes from the left. Fast. Dropped 2, ducked minor right and major left while choking the life out of her. Cleared the Mercedes, he panic braked when he saw me, I heard the tire squeal and broke my line of sight, next thing I know the Mercedes is nowhere to be found, I'm bleeding a little and my left side hurts. Good peice of rash on outer left thigh, badly bruised ribs. Bike cracked the left motor case, frame slider worked, minor rash in usual places.

All in all, for eating it at 70+ could have been a of a lot worse. Wear your gear kids.

Ugh! I'm just getting back on the saddle after a terrible flipping accident on 59 last year and reading like this makes me wonder if I wish my bike had a 14 day return policy....so glad you are ok man.

Mercedes never stopped. Nobody stopped. Somehow I managed to stand her back up and hit the switch. She started breathing so I took her a couple of feet, she rode straight (yet leaking oil) and we went on into work. Fell off the bike and called a ride home at that point.

Glad to hear that you are ok.

I took a little spill earlier today making a left turn at an intersection.

It was more embarrassing than anything. I had on gear. Gloves and my Icon street boots saved me from any damage.

The ego however was bruised.

But I'd rather take a spill like that any day than a high speed spill like you took.

glad to see you're alright
Did you file a police report on the Mercedes? Although your description was very...vivid...I couldn't really follow it, so I don't know who was at fault.

Circumstances have dictated that no action was taken and I'm on my own for this one. Went back to work today, ran circles around everyone at 60% thrust, I think I'm okay.
