kid kicked over my bike. now what?

While I was in the pool, the life guard kicked out a 12yr old for horseplaying. On the kids way out he kicked my bike over and broke the brake levers and effed up the mirrors and fairings.
I filled a claim with my insurance SF and they were trying to tell me that it falls under collision. Well after enough talking to them they say I have to tow it to a repair shop to get a quote. Does anybody know what shop I should take it to and how much it would run me?
Thanks for the help.

Just ride it up to Motorcycles Unlimited, and in reality the kids parents should be responsible, and he should have a black eye

^^^^ What he said.
Do you know the name of the kid/ where he lives? The parents are responsible for this damage, not you or your insurance.

Thanks an but id rather pay the $25 and have insurance fix it.

Where is Motorcycles Unlimited?

I mean, id rather not pay or get my insurance involved but this dumb kid ran off and the dumb pool manager just asked the kid his name and let him run off. Of course the kid gave him a fake name. It gets my blood boiling the more I think of it.

Yeah I would make the kids parent pay for it...it might raise your insurance if you claim on it on there and I would teach that little kid a lesson!! I would recommend Motorcycles Unlimited to fix it

They do insurance claims, if the kid is gone then theres not much you can do, he probably wont come back to the pool for a while, and all witnesss would be hard to find.

It's reasons like this I will never

A). Swim in a public pool
&
B). Leave my bike unattended in a situation where I can't keep my eye on it and/or run out there and beat someone .

This is why we should hate kids.

If this was done at a neighborhood pool, you can try and make a claim against the Home Owners Association. They do have insurance. They could put more pressure on the lifeguards. The lifeguard company could be threatened as well. Don't let this fall by the wayside. Make an example out of it. I coach a neighborhood swim team and I'm always worried when I park my bike out front. But I do know that the neighborhood has insurance and I would surely go after them.

. That would be a horrible situation. It is one of those things you really can't do anything about to the kid directly. He can't pay, you can't beat him up without paying a HUGE price for it.

Gah it just makes me off thinking about it.

Lol, you guys Are doing a good job at making me feel better about this.
That's great info. I will definately scout the neighborhood association and I'm sure I'll find the kid. Although I can't punish him, I can come at his parents enough for them to get in his . I never thought of doing such a thing when I was 12, wtf is up with kids these days. I mean, I used to egg cars n such but vandalism to the point where someone has to pay to fix?
Its going to be so hard for me to get this fixed or get the insurance out here cuz I work 7-5pm.
Ugh I'm disgusted again...
