Yes thats true. They got that information from me directly. I spoke directly to the officer in the video. Maybe hes on the forum because he told me he races motorcycles.

Thank you. What hurts me the most is I was there trying to save my friends life, but I knew he was dead.. The operator was trying to get me to do CPR but his face was so badly beat that there was no way to create a seal around his mouth to do it.. His helmet came off after the impact.

This is the helmet he had that broke off on impact. I'm not too sure how great that helmet is, but after seeing his face, I couldn't tell who he was.

Icon is shitty, over-priced and just for looks.....sorry bout your friend. I almost had the same outcome a year back on 149. I was riding southbound on my Harley mindin my own business when a girl in a Ram 2500 came round a corner haulin and lost control. Spun out, i freaked, highsided tryin to get on the ground. Luckely I slid under her bed (By the back tire) while she creamed my bike over and landed up in the trees, while I went slidding.....wish your friend would have been as lucky. I know your pain bro, RIP

R.I.P. to your buddy, prayers sent for his family and friends. To "OP" whatever your choice is about stopping riding or taking a time out, that's your choice. Just remember that it was a freak accident, wrong place and the wrong time, things just came together in a bad way.

I read about this in the paper this morning. Definately a freak accident, if it were another car or truck instead of a bike that the 1ton hit head on I would put money on there being more lose of life. I also wonder about that tire blowing out.... I think to myself, what caused it to blowout, poor maintenance, defective tire??? F-350 should have heavy duty tires like the other guy said.
