My friend passed away sunday afternoon on his motard.

http://montgomerycountypolicereporte...p=6668&cpage=1

This was my best friend that passed away in this accident. It was 3 of us riding down 149. I ride an R6 and my friend Rides a 750.

My friend and I on the DRZ were driving faster than my friend in the 750. I felt rude riding faster than him since hes new to motorcycles so I slowed down. A minute after this happened my friend crashed head on.

Please if you ride down 149 be careful. Police told me every year they have to do this on this same road.

Thanks guys. My friend died on impact. He didn't suffer. I haven't decided if I want to keep riding or not. He was the only person I rode with. We were family, so everyone is coming down on me about my safety. I know it was a freak accident. But for the sake of my families peace of mind. I may have to hang it up.

I know the article says hes 41. He was 21 years old.

I just really wonder how bad the tire was before it blew out, some things can be avoided if people would just take care of there cars/trucks. The rider was out and minding his own business then gets hit head on by a truck. The rider never stood a chance, and it was due to no fault of his own.

RIP
