I see no facts, nor guilt.

I lost hope on the last bike that was stolen.

My only hope is the next thief that tries, gets away before I can get to him; for my own record that is.

To be fair, he posted a really good explanation in a new thread but it was removed per his lawyer's advice. I guess the truth will come out in trial.

I was disappointed it was removed. Had a decent explanation and guy seemed sincere and legit. If he's telling the truth sure hope it goes his way.

And how many people have you off lately J/K I am sure in due time he will be able to come back and say hey this happened in court ect. Let him have his day in court and wait and see what happens, the story was a good one and believable IMHO and who am I to judge him. He will have that soon enough in court, which is why we have a criminal court system.

Out of curiosity, if someone brings you a bike to work on, do you ask for full name, copy of license, proof of ownership and most importantly, what do you think would happen if I stole a bike, brought it to you to change up parts, it had LoJack and someone came knocking at your door looking for that bike?
And they found bikes and parts all around?
How would that look to the authorities?
What would that look like to the rest of us?
How would you prove yourself innocent?

Unfortunately, even though you think his story is cliche, its kinda the way it HAS to play out. No other alternative.

Personally, I think the story was true for the most part, but it is very hard for me to believe that the defendant was so ignorant to the fact the bikes/parts were stolen. Sounds like one of those "turn a blind eye" moments to me. But to be fair I'm a pretty negative person.

Sensible and probably true.
I wanna have faith and believe not everyone is a douchebag thief.
We'll see I guess.
