I introduce to you.... "ShitFire"

a 1981 yami xs 650 that was garage kept and only had 6k original miles, buckhorn bars and all, even had a small windsheild, I rode it one day and cut it in half, built the structure for the zx-6 mono air ride and extended the swingarm back 3" and up 1", also built the 2 into 1 pipes, the twisted sissy bar, the tank is one i bought off ebay about 5 years ago just for the killer 1982 iron maiden paint job, finally have a bike it jives with, I also built a whole slew of other tidbits some may spot, some may not. it settles about 2-3" off the fender with me on it with the air pressure like it is now.

Tim that back spike thing is getting to me.I freaking want one on a Ruckus! Would have to figure out how to make it work on a single sided swingarm.

Great work.

what's the spike on the back for?
hhhhmmm, I dont understand what doesnt look comfy, it has a nice formed solo seat w/ springs and an air ride suspension that floats, It settles down lower when i sit on it. The sissy bar is for strapping the bedroll to when I do the Pancho run in a few weeks, 4 days of debauchery and I need to carry my sleeping gear with.
Actually, if I wanted an uncomfortable bike, I would have built a hardtailed bike, I built this because I have had 2 back surgeries and like a smooth ride.

Loving the hand shifter And yeah...I too said it looked painful because of the ape hangers and that sissy bar impalement device! lol I was going to ask why you're chain is so loose but I see now that the bike lowers when you sit on it...and I didn't notice the air suspension - nice

lol just noticed the tire branding

what hand shifter? oh, yer' prolly looking at the kick starter. and the impalment device is way behind the rider, it has zero effect on comfy status
