I did the -1 +2 on my 07 zx6r it definatly pulls harder . and my top speed only seems to be off by about 15mph with a speedohealer, calibrated with a gps. but if you run high speed on the freeway i wouldn't do it. it really makes it scream holding it over 100 for any amount of time. Its probably fine but I dont like holding at any steady speed over 100 anymore in fact I am most likely going to put the stock rear back on.

I noticed a big difference at the track.

I did notice acceleration increased a good amount and the top end decreased so much I would think I was in 5th when I was in 6th.

Point has been made.!
If you want faster take off this is the way to go..freeway speed will be way off.
I put only one down in the front and I like it,
I race my friend Chris off the line and I took him, now on the frwway he will walk me.

Example of effect

What do you have now.
Lets say its 15 front 45 rear that 3:1
3 rotations of the front to 1 rotation of the rear.
Lets say 80 MPH is 6000 in top gear.

If you go 14 and 47 thats 3.357

At 80 mph your RPM will now be (3.357/3) x 6000 =6714
Or at 6000 RPM your new speed will be (3/3.357) x 80 =71.49

Good Luck
