Lol these guys are funny. My light was on for six moths. Until one day I actually did some work on my bike myself, thats when I found out the last clown that I allowed under my gas tank didnt connect everything. Problem solved. The bike is more than likely fine to ride around you would have noticed if you couldnt by now. But I trust the guys at Motorcycles Unlimited with my bike if you dont feel like hunting for the problem or listening to everyone speculate on here.

get a full exhaust remove cables, actuator and then re-wire it. thats my suggestion
