Today my F1 light came on today while riding my 2006 gsxr-750! How can I find out what bthe light is for?? I have already cchecked all fuses (good), Got oil (good), bike not running hot have plenty of fluid (good). I just dont know what else it could be..

But im thinking it may be my exhaust. After I installed it the F1 light would come on but after I tunr the bike off and back on the light would go off. Now the light just stays on... Can somebody help?

You need to do the SET Valve mod or adjust the SET Valve.

check and see what the fI light is for...

put it in dealer mode and pull the codes...

It is is small white connector that does not plug into anything, and has a rubber cap on one end. (either under driver seat, or in tail section)

BLACK W/ WHITE STRIPE
WHITE W/ RED STRIPE
you just use a paper clip or piece of wire to jump the two wires together in the connector.

This will display the codes in format "C" (ie "C15", "C32", etc)
These codes will tell you specifically what is causing the fI light.

Check the codes and go from there. you can guess all day long what the problem "might be" but you wont know unless you actually check it out.

From what I heard, most likely C46
Exhaust Valve or SET
You know that needs to be adjusted at 600 and every 7500 miles per the Suzuki Service Manual.
Here is how its done:

agreed, most likely... but you never know what it really is until you actually pull the code.

Thought someone explained how to get the codes
well get the code and if its not 46 I'll tell you what it is.
connector is under the seat as you looking at it (top) sort the two wires to the right (top and bottom)

First off it isn't an "F1" light. It is an "FI" light. As in fuel injection.
