Hey all, #1 son here...
Nor Cal is second to none for riding but more to the point, track days are held practically every week during the season. I ran in C for the first two sessions and promptly moved to B for the remaining four. Our day was split up in 30 minute sessions. A/B and C/Novice. If you haven't had the opportunity to check out Thunderhill it's well worth the search. After the untimely death of the RC, I was able to pick up the bike in the pics. 07 750 engine in a 06 600 chassis. It makes for a great track bike and all around canyon carver. Going from the RC to the little Gixxer has taken some getting used to. I'm looking forward to the next track day next month. Oh, and my girlfriend was lapping backmarkers in C class. 100 lb girl on a R6 makes for one of a power to weight ratio.

Cheers!
