A lot of cops on 45 S to Galveston

Just got into G-town, must have passed 15+ cop cars.

Also saw a fellow MHer (Yellow GSX-R) pulled over :(

Sorry to see that bro

Saturday night the S.O. and I were headed to Galveston in the Miata about 6:30 pm on I-45 and when we went over the 1764 Texas overpass there was a HW patrol with a guy stopped on the left in front of us and about a half mile down there was another on the right with a guy stopped.

I said "well, better keep the speed under control - no use volunteering for a ticket".

About 10 seconds later a white BMW passed us on the left doing about 80 mph. I just laughed and said "there are more cops out here yet".

About two miles down there were three Gal Co. sheriffs working the road and guess who they had stopped? Mr. BMW.

We just laughed. What a Maroon.

Pretty smart tactic, you'd reason that since you've already passed a couple of cops the likelihood of there being more ahead is pretty low. Of course that's true 90% of the time... but the other 15%.... that's when they getcha.

I believe it is because today is the last day of the month. Everyone is out there trying to hit their quotas.

I'm sorry what high school did you go to? So inwont send my kids there. Haha jk man. But on a 100% scale. 90% is true that there won't be more cops out after you pass 3 of them. I guess that other 15% haha of the time we are wrong haha.

Re: A lot of cops on 45 S to Galveston

Our group today got into some trouble. In all 6 warnings 4 tickets 2 bikes got towed. You have to love highway 36. Good part is no one went to jail.
