Question Who's to Blame?

Police lights

Let's say you go on a group ride and everyone was riding above the speed limit on a public hwy, a few minutes later some of the riders got pulled over and ticketed for speeding.

Who's to blame in this type of situations?

1. Blame the group for somehow making you ride over the speed limit against your will.
2. Blame your bike for accelerating by itself.
3. Blame the cops for enforcing the law.
4. Blame yourself and take responsibility for your own actions.

Pretty simple.. know who you are riding with and twist the wrist accordingly.

stop being f**king stupid. only you can control your bike. blame is all on you and only you. you see the po po behind you pull over and take the ticket like a man instead of being a dumb F**k and putting more people at risk and making us all look bad.

There is a certain responsibility the group has for its riders safety. Certainly, the slower riders could drop out, however, what's the fun of a group ride then? If a proper sweeper is in place then there isn't a reason in the world for slower riders to go above their heads to keep up. The blame ultimately falls on the individual riders.
