That's pretty typical though.. It's all marketing BS anyway.

I have cingular. No dropped calls. T-mobile was a different story. Dropped all the time.

I've noticed that when my wife and I both had motorola phones there were a lot of dropped calls, but when we got away from motorola, all the dropped calls stopped.

Cingular does have the fewest amount of calls and the company that did the research spent a over a year testing out all major carriers( Cingular, Verizon, Tmobile, Sprint and Nextel) and Cingular came out ahead with the fewest amount. Plus Cingular invested 6.5 billion dollars into their network when no other company came close. They are the biggest company and have the most resources to constantly improve their network. Now, for people who are still on At&t side(gsm 1900) i can understand the complaints but cingular uses a much stronger frequency(gsm 850) and i cant remember the last time i dropped a call. And there are always gonna be people who are just never satisfied and expect their cellphones to work 100% of the time when no company can offer that. I get people like that especially young people who want everything their way and dont understand that you tell them about the way cellphone service is and what they should expect. For example Ill get some young teenage complaining that he dropped a call and when i try to check it for him and tell him that nothings wrong i get this "dude, cingular sucks, how come my phone doesnt work, i keep dropping calls" and when i check their account it shows one, maybe two in a 2 month period. Its people like this that have no fuggin clue and i feel like reaching over my computer and slapping the ignorance off of them. backhand them til my hand hurts. sorry if i got of track

Yeah, fewest drop calls (in their coverage area) considering their coverage area is like a postage stamp comapred to some of the others.
