my brother dropped it but its fine except for a cluck in the front forks.

i am about to go for some training for the army which keeps me out of summer classes and out of town so i figured i'll take the chance to upgrade when i return and use the money from selling it to put a cam in my car, get a custom interior and possibly get the car painted. bike is still my commuting vehicle for now.

when i return, i'll get a 1kcc or more bike as i'm bored with the R6 already. did not help me it was already fully modded when i got it so nothing for me to do to it really

why on earth would you part out a bike that is good enough to ride daily?!!!!

yes....you might get more money from the parts than you would strictly for the bike....but parting out takes time bro.

how much is your time worth? i would figure at least an hour per "part" you remove....just for taking it off...then add all the work/costs of listing them for sale, making transactions, negotiating, talking on the phone, shipping, driving, packing materials, tools needed...motorcycles have alot of parts, btw.

and its not like each and every part would all get sold overnight...you would be taking on a serious project (which you say you have little experience in) plus have a bunch of parts laying around that are also depreciating in value...

either sell it as is, or just fix the fork and sell it as is after that...be done with it, and you will have much more cash/time and less stress.

fork is not bent, he jumped a curb with it. the clunk is inside of the fork.

you hear it when you go over a bump or when you brake hard and compress the front fork.

i did not have the fork opened up yet as i was not ready to fix it

Man if you have 94 cbr or some then part it out. If you are running a really good bike with mods and full fairings, sell that muhfreaker whole. Don't part it. Seriously.

mmmmmm, no.

my brother(a new rider, newer than me at least) was riding behind me, i took a quick exit of 610W at almeda. apparently he was riding too close to me and decided to take it. missed the exit, jumped over the V shaped divider and dropped the bike on the exit ramp.

fairings where all scratched(right headlight fairing plus headlight broken) tank dented. stator cover, windscreen and my scotts damper scratched. mirrors broken. i immediately replaced the fairings and light. had stator cover fixed by 2 Wheel Toyz.

any more questions?
