f*ing win!

Any specs?

Also, I dont intend to streetfighter. I just had to remove the plastics to do some stuff. I went on a 10 min ride to the meet to figure out if there is a diff without the plastics. I know there would be - but how much diff is what I was after.

Honestly, wind wise, I didnt feel much diff. Also about the speed comment, I know *coming from a 250* how much aerodynamics help speed wise. Temp wise, I was running 198ish 50-60mph. Ill check what the temp is when the plastics are back.

I had the exact same issue with my ZX9. Shortly after I crashed, I turned it into a streetfighter for a while because I messed up my fairings pretty bad, and like you said, I couldnt do much over 65-70 until a friend and I figured it out. You need your fairings in order to get the proper amount of air trough the ram air tubes. Well, you dont really need the fairings, but you do need the ram air tubes at the front of your bike in order to catch the air, but the bike would look pretty weird with only the tubes and no fairings. And it might not seem like a big difference now, but youre gonna want your fairings later on. I remember when I first stripped my bike down, I thought it looked freaking sweet, but later I realized how much I needed my fairings. All that wind hitting me in the chest, pushing my helmet onto my face got old REEEEAL quick, I never realized how much that DB windscreen actually helped. But unless you enjoy hitting the wind head on with no deflection, especially at triple digit speeds, then you should be ok. I hope this helps, although everybody else already pretty much said the same thing

Damnit... That's why she was mad at me

Anyway. So I put my upper/front back on (left the bottom naked for now) and problem's gone. I'm pretty positive I (or whoever wants to lose the fairings) would need to get re-jetted or re-tuned for things to flow right.
