Cool First time "posing"

I must say "posing" is an art all on it's own. Everyone hates on posers, but yet it is so tempting not to be influenced by them and become one yourself. Tonight was my first experience at PP1 and I must say it was rather interesting. I arrived at the spot and noticed that the art of posing begins when you pull up....as I later discovered. Step 1) when entering the parking lot look around for the quickest place to park but be sure to rev your engine half a dozen times or so to signal to others watching that you have arrived OR 1b) Creap into the parking lot going extra slow flashing chrome and lights so people can stare at your branded prospect tee shirt. Step 2) After you arrive be sure to look around as if you are important and people are waiting for you to arrive and be sure if you don't see anybody to act cool because you know after reving you engine that people are watching and you don't want to ruin your posing front. Step 3) Sit while drinking Starbucks or Jamba Juice watching the other "posers" roll in and do their style of posing. Step 4) repeate step 1 in reverse

That's all. Thanks for listening.

Pretty much spot on. Except for the part where you gotta wait in line twice for your overpriced coffee. LOL...

PP1 is a great location for everyone from all sides of Houston to meet.

On Wedsnesday nights though, it gets overcrowded and unbearable.

some advanced tips:

pretend to talk on your cell phone, as though you have important things going on.
(be sure its a new model, like an iphone or droid)

if you talk to people, make sure you seem slightly annoyed by them, after all...its their priveledge to get a chance to talk to you.

look up some names of important people in the racing and motorcycle industry. explain to people that you know them personally, and they can get you $900 shoei helmets for $200. when people ask for that hookup, explain that you cant do it for "just anybody".

show up on your "stuntbike" that has a chromed cage and 12 bar....with no scratches on it.

learn how to spin your bike 180 degrees on the kickstand. new riders will gawk at you with shock and awe at your amazing ability and super strength.

if you meet someone who does trackdays, get their phone number...later on, ask them privatly if you can buy some used and scratched up knee pucks. wear them proudly.

FYI, i havnt been to PP1 in years....somehow i doubt much has changed, lol.
