I am going to say... after 3 days they are probably gone. Sad, but probably true. She looked like a cuttie too.

Does not look good. Does anyone know what part of town they were supposedly dropped off in? It is hard to imagie a scenario where they would be still missing after 3 days, but stranger things have happened...

GD thieves...

HPD finds two bodies in search for missing couple

Houston police said this afternoon they have found two bodies near Shady Lane Park in Harris County and were investigating whether they were the young man and woman who have been missing since the weekend.

The bodies were located at Deutser Lane and Shady Lane, police said. More details are expected later today. Maria Chrisalee Aparece, 23, of Fort Bend County and her friend, Huy Ngo, 17, have been missing since Sunday. On Wednesday, Aparece's car was one of three stolen cars recovered the apartment of Dexter D. Johnson when he was arrested on the marijuana charge.

Today, Johnson, a suspect in the carjacking and disappearance of the couple, appeared in Harris County court on a marijuana charge and was ordered by state District Judge Larry Stanley to be held on a $100,000 bond.

Stanley said a $500 bond is normally set on a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge. But he said he agreed to the higher amount after he was approached by Harris County prosecutors and told of the extenuating circumstances surrounding Johnson's case.

Harris County Assistant District Attorney Mark Donnelly told Stanley in court today that Johnson has admitted his involvement in carjacking Aparece's car.

Johnson, 18, pleaded not guilty to the marijuana charge. Adam Brown, his court-appointed attorney, said his client has not mentioned anything about the missing pair.

Johnson also has been charged with aggravated robbery in connection with two other carjackings. His bond was set at $250,000 for each of the charges.

HOUSTON -- The bodies believed to be a missing 23-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy were found Friday afternoon, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Maria Chrisalee Aparece and Huy Ngo were last seen Sunday night before they were apparently carjacked.

Officials said two bodies were found in a field near Deutser and Gateway Drive in northeast Houston. Investigators said the bodies had been there for at least two days.

Officials said foul play is believed to be involved in the couple's disappearance.

Aparece was last seen on Sunday at 1 a.m. when she left her family's home and drove to Houston to return keys to Ngo.

Officials said Aparece's credit and debit cards were used at several locations, including gas stations and restaurants.

The car that Aparece was driving was recovered on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. in Humble. Four people were arrested as suspects in the carjacking of the couple.

Officials said the suspects admitted to using the car in a crime spree but said they left Aparece and Ngo safely on the side of the road.

Additional arrest warrants were issued Friday, and one of those arrested led police to the bodies, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. More arrests are expected.

Investigators said Aparece's vehicle was used in a home invasion and aggravated assaults.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office at (281) 341-4665
