That is hilarious...I was just thinking the same thing after this race.

I remember saying, "That's gonna leave a mark." More than once!

What kinds of bikes are good for these?

I have a DRZ400 that I don't really want to beat up quite yet and I might have a friend's YZ125 soon.

anything with 2 wheels, knobby tires, and a running motor. The open D class has everything from relic Kawi 2 strokes to newer 4 strokes. Even in the heat and tight woods, the air cooled 4 strokes are manageable. The YZ is probably the more preferred I would think.

i'd choose the YZ because it is lighter. My 135 lbs. has a hard time moving my 426 around which is noticeably lighter than my drz400.

Hoping to have my 250f back up and going before next race...(and i've been saying that for over 2 years I think)

Summer Start Times

Starting next race, due to the warm weather, we will be combining the start times of the Sunday 1 and 2 hr riders. This means that all races will be through by 12:00 (Noon). Way before the heat kicks it into high gear! So start time will be around 9:00 with 1hr guys done by 10:30 or so and 2 hr guys done by 11:30 or so.

that is good to hear....I'm guessing that the 2 hour folks will really enjoy that...I'd also assume 1 hour A riders and 2 hour A riders get released, then B, C and so on.

nope, sitting in 7th....but if I could somehow get credit for the middleton race (I had to race a 2 hour Open C class there cuz I got a flat 30 minutes before the 1 hour races started and didn't make the starting line), it may spice things up...as well as throwing the Outlaw Trax points too. I'm just chasing these little kids man....

And me...don't forget you are 6 points behind me right now. Don't know if that will still be tha case after this weekend, but I'll do my darndest to make it stay that way, or even widen the gap a little!
