To each their own. I wont deny it looks like you could have some fun on it, just not what appeals to me.
It's not the greatest vehicle on earth but how often can you say you rode carved roads in...

a) a scooter
b) a 3 wheeled scooter
c) a 500cc scooter

I think it's a pretty cool feat of engineering...safer than a trike/spyder/whatever with it's dynamic handling. The place I rented the smart car from last time I was in San Francisco had them but back then I wasn't into motorcycles. Now I want to rent one...

Spyders are not motorcycles, I don't care what you say

It's interesting for sure. Probably has great torque from a 500cc single.

I guess I just prefer the handling of my bike rather than relying on a third wheel. Call me a purist.

But hey, have fun on it when you get out there. Give us a review when you get back!

I think it would be well suited for some of the older people who don't have that much leg strength anymore.

There, I said it.

The Spyder roadster is classified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as a three-wheeled motorcycle but BRP feels the term roadster fits best because the Spyder gives owners the performance of a motorcycle and much of the peace of mind of a convertible sports car.

And I hate the NHTSA
This is the most original post in the history of the interwebz, well, next to what kind of oil should I use. BAM!

They are for older people thats all you see riding them i agree with gueroaero. I dont think you will see anyone doing stunts on them min a parking lot or on the streets.
