On a complete side note, After red light camera's are common place how much longer until Speeding cameras that just take your picture and mail you the ticket every 10 miles or so are common place like they are in Europe?

That's interesting. I tend to agree with the idea of red light cameras to enforce the law, but I've been having second thoughts on this as it doesn't really enforce the law, much less than just dispenses fines.

I think getting pulled over by a cop and issued a citation right there and then is a much more effective means of enforcing law. That said, I understand that we can't have a cop at every intersection and light.

Perhaps instead of simply mailing out fines, the law should require 50 hours of community service for every infraction of running a red light as well as a nominal fine to cover the cost of the system.

After a while i noticed the majority of vehicles running reds were Minivans, SUV's and compacts. I also noticed that if people would check both ways before they just blindly pulled away from the light they probably could have avoided most of those collisions. Every time I'm at the front of the line and the light turns green, I always check both lanes of traffic I'm about to cross. Nice find, thanks for posting that.

Parking next to the hydrant is worse for you and your car, ecause if the FD needs said hydrant, they tend to enjoy the removal of your car way too much.(saw one that had is windows busted out and the hose run through the car. those things leak. there was water all in that car.)

Bought the only part of the movie Backdraft with any truth to it.

But yes, they will run a giant wet dripping hose right through your windows if they have too. Probably a lot easier than moving the car.
