RIDE TO DALLAS 05/28/2010

Its memorial day weekend and Im driving to dallas on friday 28. Will drive back on monday at 8am.
Whoever rides with me gets free gas as long as there aint 10 of you mo fos. Once I get there I have things to do until monday morning when Im headed back to Houston. Free gas is offered to the first 5 riders.

Make sure your bike is road ready. If you have threads showing on your tire. No gas for you.

No lodging either .

I will be leaving from Galveston at around 3:30pm be in South East Houston for a stop at 4:30pm then next stop is woodlands around 6:20pm and then its High tailing it to Dallas. Im hoping to be at Fort worth on or before 10pm.

This ride is not for noobs. If you have been on a long drive before, you know this is a serious ride and stuff can happen. I will help anyone but I have to be in Dallas on schedule. I might even leave a little earlier than 3:30pm if no one is coming. Ill just skip all stops and go straight to Dallas from Galveston.

If you know how to ride but never been on long trip this might be good for you.

Right now hotels and motels are super cheap in Dallas because the city is gonna be vacant. No one wants to spend memorial day in Dallas. Except me.

Let me know? Im wearfull gear and I have backpack and I may buy some saddle bags for my zx14. I would normally go in my Roadstar1600 or maybe even on my ZG1000 but I can't stress enough, I have to be in Dallas on time so Im going on the 14 so I can have that option.

Let me confirm and I will let you know.

Edit: And I don't ride under the speed limit. Usually I keep with the flow of traffic or a little faster. I just didn't want to get there in an hour.

Trust me I have tried to get there in an hour. Its impossible. IMPOSSIBLE. but you can get pilot license and get there in a plane in 45 minutes.

This will be a good ride for mature riders. Trust me I like to fly but this is not that kind of ride. I still have to ride back so I don't want to go all out on the first trip getting up there.

I just did my oil change about 1300 miles ago so Im doing another on tomorrow night. Seriously make sure your bike is ready and that you have a plan. Im leaving my truck and toy hauler at my friends in case the bike fcks up he can drive up and pick me up.

Lets just enjoy this ride thats all. Im not gonna judge how anyone rides. But if you break laws and......get caught you are on your own.

Anytime man. Remember your not in until you finish basic training. Other than that you can back out of anything at anytime even while in basic.

But don't do the process unless your fully commited and you know what your getting yourself into. Air Force is a good place I did 5 1/2 years in it and it was a pretty good choice that has lead me on to bigger and better things in other Government agencies.
