I'd risk a speeding ticket over breaking that kind of law and dealing with those consequences for having one.

from what I understand they send a false signal back to the source and it makes the radar gun read something crazy like 1000mph....... so the cop will still know somethings up and if you get caught it's like interfering with law enforcement or something... make sure you know the risk and weight the reward.

radar jammers can jamm radar signal but not lasers. if a cop cant get a reading on your vehicle he will pull you over to see if you have some type of jamming device. jammers wont do of the cop is pacing your speed from behind

Most of the new radar guns know when they are being jammed and shows the cop. So you better be quick to slow down and flip that t off. Too big a risk for so little reward. Especially if your in light traffic where you'll be noticed more easily.

True. Too much risk for too little reward.

I looked and I'm not entirely sure that LASER jamming equipment is illegal. RADAR jamming equipment is for sure.

Radar jamming is a Federal offense and I think what we are talking about here is the lidar jammers. These are legal but the cops probably aren't going to be happy.

carbon fiber panels and bits, & rubberized paint.

well known issue in the RC inudstry as serious radio blockers. (depending on the radio frequency) if the frequency is more" line of site"....then you have max potential to block.

you dont even have to have the real stuff, just enough faux panels/paint to make it PLAUSIBLE to the officer, that it could be those issues, to throw away the scent of a jammer.

lidar "jammers" don't work, not here and sure as not in the alternate universe that those who believe it does live in. the only effective lidar jammers that do work none of us can even begin to afford and the military sure isn't gonna release em to the public

yea just ride the speed limit, then you don't need all the fancy gadgets to try and keep the cops from showing you the pretty lights
