I would say accelerating. Why brake to let some cutting me off in when I can just get in front and flick him off. Even more so since I've recently started cruising down city streets at 5k at least. Def noisier and I'm in the power band too. Also maybe because the motor doesn't stop knocking like it's about to fly apart until about 5k in 3rd gear and up.
