How many days out of a set of tyres?

I realise this is a very general question and there are loads of variables. I would however like to know how my days you lot get out of a set of tyres?

Which bike, which tyre, how fast........

Cheers

Lol...

You answered your own question. Too many variables to give you an answer but if your not shredding them then you probably don't need a track specific tyre.

Fyi I've got quite a bit of seat time and alittle experience. But your question has no real answer. How hard are you on the gas, brakes... Track temps, track itself, pace, your weight, riding style. Are you running hard tyres, softies(more than likely judging from the question and responses) etc...

Really there is not set amt of laps, days, weeks your tyres will last. I'm sorry if you don't like the answer but it is what it is. You've live with a small now live with this my friend

variable are type of bike, riders weight, suspension setup, how quick you are on the gas, how hard on the brakes, and track surface, and I am sure there are many more. I believe the wear markers will help you out.

I am with BC on this one. You could have the same weight person as say alonzo same bike set up and same tires and there tires last 5-6 trackdays, but because Alonzo is FAST he could go thru a set in a day.

TWS (Texas World Speedway) on a 1000rr I get 3 races (1 TD) out of a rear. ECR I get 2 or 3 TD's.

tire wear generally has more to do with riding style, setup or lack of it and tire pressures than how fast or slow you are
oh and tire warmer use

Lots of variables as you have stated....rider, bike, tire choice, track surface, temp, etc..

At a track like TWS (Texas World Speedway), on my R6 and going near full pace, i'll go through a rear tire in 1 day. On my SV650, I can make 2 or 3 days near full pace out of a rear tire.

On the R6 i'll usually use 3 rear tires to every front tire.

On the SV i'll usually use 1 and MAYBE 2 rears to a front.
