I never get that feeling. My girl does. I don't listen to her and ride. No problems yet.

Sometimes that feeling can be what harms you. If you're riding with the wrong attitude, you won't be focused on the task at hand, and you'll end up doing something stupid.
Just my opinion

Rode with a guy that was new to our group one day. I didnt hear much from him until he had us stop because he was about to run out of gas. He said he couldnt beleive it cause he always would fill the bike up before he brought it home, and he forgot this time. Then that morning he dropped the bike on its side. Said that was the first time. Later that day he went wayyy to fast for a corner out towards F-ville and went sailing off the road totalled his bike. He bumped his head pretty hard to, but was just a little lupey.

The guy even said he had a weird feeling that morning that he shouldnt ride. I've had them too. Almost made me sick to my stomach sometimes, and I will either not ride or stay very focused that day. Never wrecked on the street in 3+ years of riding. I dont think its something to shrug off.

Had a bad feeling about a month ago... 5 mins after I left a friends apt w/ him for a ride, Theres a LEO behind us with his lights on... (Non moving violation), 20 minutes later my i'm having engine issues due to a fouled spark plug, & had to truck the bike home. I just paid $148 last week for that ticket.

So yea, needless to say, it doesn't happen often, but when i get that feeling, I'll be sure to listen next time.

It's best not to ride when you get that feeling because you get nervous and scared when riding. When you are riding and nervous about it you are more likely to let your survival instinct take over and make you do something stupid like chop the throttle or squeeze the brakes a little too hard etc. Just try to block those thoughts and accept the fact that next to Russian roulette you have chosen probably one of the most dangerous hobbies a person can have so just say fck it and have fun.

I usually get that feeling but it goes away at work and then it gets replaced with the thought of choking the out of moronic co-workers. Oh, and those that text canceling a ride.

Agreed. If I get that feeling I won't ride only because I let that mentality get in my head which can affect my riding because I allowed it. If others tell me they get a feeling, I don't sweat it because I'm mentally ready for the ride. Anything can happen at all times doing the simplest of things but if you're mentally sharp you will be best prepared...along with your gear.

I have that alot of people I ride with.

Last one I knew was w ChattyKathy when she turned to follow the two that left us on 3090. Duci was wondering when I called him back I wasnt shocked in my voice.

As for myself, I dont ignore it but I slow down even more and keep more caution.

yea listen to your gut feelings, mostly because when your riding...that feeling is stuck in the back of your mind and could be a distraction

bad things happen to me when i dont listen....maybe cuz i worry too much about it and end up losing concentration...but thats just me

I've never had a feeling like that when riding........ I've had a "gut" feeling about people before and have found that those prove true 90% for me.

its why i dont ride Plant Rd right off of Crabb. for some reason that road gives me the spooks, so i never ride it. i just wait and let the group ride it and when they come back i rejoin. i always listen to my gut.
