I think my fear of spiders really started when I was about 9 years old and playing in the backyard. I was wearing jeans with those nearly knee high socks everyone wore back then. And I felt something on my knee, when I looked down my pants were moving and I thought "HOLY CHIT! THAT"S HUGE"

I freaked the out, but I wanted it off of me, and being extremely shy, I wasn't about to drop my pants outdoors either. So I grabbed whatever it was through the outside of my pants to hold it away from me and hobbled indoors into the bathroom and stripped down and threw the pants in the corner. Of course I'm sobbing the whole time and the biggest spider I had ever seen at that time came crawling out of my pants..

lol.. still gives me the creeps/chills etc..
