If the stock V8 made 720whp than yes he would be doing it wrong. A turbo 600 will make about the same power as a stock 1000. Sure it won't make cool noises but it will be a lot less of a hassle.

Lowering a car typically makes the car handle better. The exact opposite is true for bikes
