Yep, I saw that as well. It would be a great deal for someone as long as it is in the same shape as when I sold it. I would say the selling price should be closer to 2K rather than 3K though. If it were just under 2K, I would consider getting it back!

Great freaking bike.

I wanted that bike when it was last for sale on here. I went to look at it once but it wouldn't start. I was going to go back when he got it squared away but it seemed like we were having a bit of trouble hooking up, so I gave up. I would love to have it still, but that's a bit much $$$.

Like most kick start bikes, you just have to figure out the system. Once I did, it almost always started on a few kicks. If the current owner doesn't have it down, he's going to have trouble selling it for sure.

Not to hijack, this is will be my last post on the 400, but I looked up the old ads for what I sold it for and what Doumoto sold it for.

My original ad, when I sold it for originally.

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...=xr400r+motard

Doumoto's ad and what he was asking when he sold it.

Yeah I thought Doumoto was asking 22 for it. If it was listed for that on CL I would think about it, but not for 28.

Hmm need to ride MagicMan's 2fiddy with the sumo wheels to see what I think of it...hint hint

Haha no worries about the hijack. I've always loved that bike since the first time I met you and saw it at eximports. Hey Staton did you have a spark arrestor in that white bros pipe? I called the guy and asked him if he had one in there before I realized it was your old bike. He says it does. I was going to go look at it and see if it does. I have the same pipe on my 250. But can't find a spark arrestor.
