Question new headlights

Is there any reason why my bike would bog down at about 70 mph after I put on new headlights?

I know it isn't anything else. It ran just dandy before the headlights. On my way home, I noticed it gurggling. I was opened it up and a whole lotta nothing happened.

Fuses and whatnot look just fine. Whats wrong?

I figured it out. I didnt know that my tail lights were out as well. Ended up being a blow fuse. So I fixed that. Grounded the lights to something solid. instead of the flimsy ground I had before. Put new terminals on all the wires and blam! It was running right.
