Thumbs up Riding the twisties in Taiwan

Here is a cool video of a few guys from back home riding the twisties on a sunday morning. Larger displacement bikes has only been allowed to be imported into Taiwan since 2007, before that it was just scooters, vespas and less than 250cc motorcycles on the roads. Since its a new sport, no racetracks has been built it so most of the riders practice on mountain roads similar to the ones shown on the videos. Just thought since it was raining outside, this would be something different for you guys to watch, hope you like

Yup. I went to back home before I got addicted to riding on two wheels. I went to southern luzon and found lots of nice twisties with good pavement. I was like WTF, nice road here?!?!

all of the bikes on the video are 750s and liter bikes.... what amazes me is that most of these guys were riding scooters and vespas just 3 years ago when it was illegal to even own a motorcycle that was larger than 250cc!

I have family in Taiwan so lodging is not a problem but since it is a fairly new sport, there are no motorcycle rental companies just yet so that would be the biggest issue, otherwise it would be a great idea to get a group and fly there to ride those roads! Maybe someone on this forum might wanna get into this virgen market, i will be the first customer for sure!
